Khasab: Oman-British joint military exercise codenamed Musandam Fort 2022 concluded in the Musandam Governorate on Thursday. Various units of the armed forces of Oman and Britain took part in the exercise, which was held under the auspices of Major General Muslim bin Muhammad bin Taman Jaaboub, Commander of Sultan’s Special Force. The Oman-British military exercise aims at exchanging experiences and gaining military skills in diverse geographic terrains and amphibious landings.
Musandam Fort 2022 is part of the annual training plans pursued by the Sultan’s Armed Forces. The Sultan’s Armed Forces carry out a series of joint military exercises with other countries to enhance efficiency and battle readiness.
The conclusion of the exercise was witnessed by Brigadier General Nasser bin Said al Saadi, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces for Training and Joint Exercises, senior officers of military and security agencies, and the Defence Attaché at the UK Embassy in Muscat. — ONA SEE ALSO P2
