MUSCAT: An ‘Investment and Emerging Companies Summit’ will be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center during December 12-13, 2022, under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Honorary President of the Promising Omani Startups Programme.
As many as 50 startups will be showcased during the two-day forum, with more than 2,000 delegates due to attend.
The summit will feature around 13 local and international experts sharing their expertise and experiences for the benefit of young entrepreneurs and start-ups. There will be presentations on the strategy of emerging companies and their systems, the importance of increasing business and innovations for this sector, and the potential for the growth of these companies in the future.
A key objective of the summit is to stimulate the growth of Omani startups community to they can contribute activity to the local economy by rolling out local products and introducing innovative services.
Additionally, the forum will address some of the challenges faced by small and emerging start-ups and family businesses operating in the capital area. A number of experts will also be on hand to talk about the role of crowdfunding platforms and their impact on accelerating the growth of startups, as well as international listing platforms and their importance.
