Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the political framework agreement that was recently signed in the Republic of Sudan. In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman expressed the hope that the agreement will contribute to a desired transition that realises the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people. Oman affirmed its support for the unity, stability and security of Sudan. Oman has also voiced its appreciation for the efforts undertaken by regional and international parties to get this agreement concluded.
