عقدت لجنة العلاقات والفعاليات بجمعية الصحفيين العمانية اجتماعها الأول لعام 2023م .
بدأ الاجتماع بكلمة نائب رئيس اللجنة صالح بن فايز الرواحي رحب فيها بالحضور معربا عن شكره وتقديره لجميع أعضاء اللجنة على عاونهم وتكاتفهم ومشاركتهم الفاعلة في كافة البرامج والفعاليات التي قامت بها الجمعية خلال الفترة الماضية وكان آخرها حفل تكريم المشاركين في المؤتمر العام لاجتماعات الاتحاد الدولي للصحفيين (الكونجرس) والذي اقيم بتاريخ 16 يناير / 2023م ، كما رحب بالأعضاء الجدد الذين إنضموا للجنة خلال الفترة الحالية متمنيا لهم التوفيق والعمل مع بقية زملائهم بروح الفريق الواحد ..
بعد ذلك تحدث أمين سرالجمعية طالب بن سيف الضباري لاعضاء اللجنة شاكرا ومثمنا لهم جهودهم التي بذلوها خلال الفترة الماضية . مؤكدا أن لجنة العلاقات والفعاليات تعد من اهم اللجان بالجمعية مما يتطلب من الجميع التكاتف والتعاون والعمل بروح الفريق الواحد ، متمنيا لهم التوفيق ، كما تطرق أمين سر الجمعية حول الندوة التي ستنظمها الجمعية بعنوان (المشاركة المجتمعية ودورها في صنع القرار الوطني) والتي كان منالمقرر لها ان تقام على مسرح الجمعية على مدى يومي 24 – 25 / يناير / 2023م ولكن نظرا لبعض الظروف فقد تم تأجيلها الى منتصف شهر فبراير القادم وسيتم الاعلان عنها في وقت لاحق ان شاء الله .
فيما بعد تم التصويت من قبل الاعضاء لاختيار نائب رئيس اللجنة ،حيث تقدم للمنافسة بين كل من الفاضل / محمد بن خميس الحسني والفاضل / صالح بن فايز الرواحي وقد تم ترشيح الفاضل / صالح بن فايز الرواحي لمنصب نائب الرئيس وذلك لحصوله على عدد (10) أصوات مقابل (8) اصوات لـ محمد بن خميس الحسني ، كما تم تزكيةالفاضل / يعقوب بن محمد الرواحي ليكون مقررا للجنة وذلك لكونه المترشح الوحيد لهذا المنصب .
في الختام قدم نائب رئيس لجنة العلاقات والفعاليات شكره لكافة الاعضاء على ثقتهم به وترشيحه لمنصب نائب الرئيس راجيا من الله التوفيق والسداد .
