نشرت الأرصاد العمانية تقرير رقم 2 عن الحالة الجوية على سلطنة عُمان خلال الفترة 24 – 28 يناير 2023م، وجاء فيه: استمرار تأثر أجواء سلطنة عمان بإخدود من منخفض جوي حتى مساء يوم السبت الموافق ٢٨ يناير ۲۰۲۳ م . حيث من المتوقع ان يستمر تدفق السحب على محافظات مسندم وشمال الباطنة وجنوب الباطنة والبريمي والظاهرة والداخلية ومسقط مع فرص لهطول أمطار متفاوتة الغزارة تكون رعدية أحيانا مع فرص لتساقط حبات البرد.
يمتد تأثير الاخدود تدريجياً ليشمل محافظات شمال الشرقية وجنوب الشرقية والوسطى وظفار وتتركز غزارة الأمطار على المحافظات الشمالية لسلطنة عمان.
التأثير المتوقع:
– هطول أمطار متفرقة متفاوتة الغزارة تتراوح بين ١٠ إلى ٦٠ مليمتر تؤدي لجريان الشعاب والأودية .
– فرص لتساقط الثلج وتشكل الصقيع على قمم الجبال . هبوب رياح هابطة نشطة تتراوح سرعتها بين ١٥ و ٤٠ عقدة (۲۸) – ٧٤ كم/ساعة) قد تؤدي إلى تطاير المواد غير الثابتة وكذلك تصاعد للغبار والأتربة.
– ارتفاع موج البحر ليكون متوسط إلى هائج على معظم سواحل سلطنة عمان ويتراوح أقصى أرتفاع له بين مترين إلى ثلاثة أمتار .
– انخفاض ملحوظ في درجات الحرارة على معظم محافظات سلطنة عمان خاصة المرتفعات الجبلية.
ودعت هيئة الطيران المدني المواطنين والمقيمين بأخذ الحيطة والحذر أثناء هطول الامطار وجريان الأودية وتدني الرؤية الافقية والتأكد من حالة البحر قبل ارتياده ومتابعة النشرات الجوية الصادرة عنها.
