أصدرت سفارة سلطنة عُمان في عمان بالمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية تنبيها للطلبة العمانيين الدارسين بالمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة.، جاء فيه: تلاحظ فى الآونة الأخيرة ادعاء بعض الأشخاص بأنهم مندوبين يمثلون القسم الثقافي بسفارة سلطنة عُمان لدى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. وعليه تنوه السفارة بأنه لا يمثلها أي مندوب يدّعي بأنه مكلف من قبل السفارة لمتابعة قضايا الطلبة العُمانيين في الجامعات الأردنية و الجهات الأخرى
