شارك مركز الزبير لتطوير المؤسسات في فعاليات مؤتمر حاضنات ومسرعات الأعمال الخليجي للمرة السادسة على التوالي والذي جاء بعنوان مستقبل حاضنات الاعمال في الخليج.. الاستدامة والتطوير والدعم المالي. تم تنظيم هذا المؤتمر في العاصمة البحرينية المنامة وذلك تحت رعاية معالي أحمد بن سلمان المسلم رئيس مجلس النواب البحريني وبحضور عدد من السفراء والمسؤولين ورجال وسيدات الاعمال الخليجيين.
استمر المؤتمر لمدة يومين متتاليين، وتم تنظيمه بالشراكة بين جمعية البحرين لتنمية المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة ووزارة الصناعة والتجارة والسياحة البحرينية، ولقد شهد المؤتمر مشاركة كبيرة من حضانات ومسرعات الاعمال الخليجية بالإضافة الى عدد من ورواد الاعمال الخليجيين .
يهدف مركز الزبير لتطوير المؤسسات من هذه المشاركة إلى تأكيد إلتزامه بتعزيز التنمية المستدامة لريادة الاعمال في السلطنة، وذلك من خلال إتاحة الفرصة لعدد من أعضاء المركز للمشاركة في هذا التجمع الخليجي بهدف تبادل الخبرات والمعرفة مع نظرائهم من دول الخليج العربية، مما يساهم في تطوير مشاريعهم التجارية من خلال وتعزز التعاون مع نظرائهم من دول الخليج العربية بهدف تطوير مشاريعم التجارية وأستدامتها.
لقد شارك نيابة عن مركز الزبير لتطوير المؤسسات كل من علي شاكر رئيس رئيس قطاع تطوير الأعمال والشراكات بالمركز بالاضافة الى ثلاثة من أعضائه البارزين وهم عبدالعزيز المعولي مؤسس شركة سمارتك للحلول التقنية والذكاء الاصطناعي،ومازن الحضرمي مؤسس شركة let’s Go، بالإضافة الى المهندسة فرحة الكندية الشريك المؤسس والمدير العام لشركة مينا للصناعات السمكية.
خلال اليومين، قدم مركز الزبير لتطوير المؤسسات إسهامًا مهمًا من خلال مشاركته في الجلسات الحوارية، والتي تميزت هذه المساهمة بالاستفادة من الخبرات التراكمية التي اكتسبها المركز على مدى أكثر من 10 سنوات، وتبادل تجاربه مع دول الخليج الأخرى. كما قام علي شاكر رئيس قطاع تطوير الاعمال والشراكة بتقديم ورقة نقاشية في جلسة حوارية حملت عنوان “ممارسات الاستدامة التي يمكن تبنيها في مجال حاضنات الأعمال”. حيث ناقشت الورقة ، دور الحاضنات في تشجيع وتعزيز مفهوم الاستدامة في المؤسسات الناشئة وتبني المشاريع المستدامة وربطها باهداف التنمية المستدامة في مشاريعهم وممارساتهم. ومن جانب آخر ناقشت الورقة، العوامل المحفزة لرائد العمل لربط مشروعه باهداف التنمية المستدامة.
كما شارك أعضاء المركز في محاور مختلفة حيث قدم مازن الحضرمي مساهمته حول دور التكنولوجيا في دعم استدامة المشاريع وتعزيز ابتكار الحاضنات. بينما تناولت المهندسة فرحة الكندية محور “التحديات والفرص ما بعد فترة الاحتضان”، وتركزت مشاركة عبدالعزيز المعولي في محور “أزمة السيولة وتأثيرها على الحاضنات: الأسباب والحلول“.
وحول هذه المشاركة عبر علي شاكر عن امتنانه لجمعية البحرين لتنمية المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة لدعوتهم لمشاركة مركز الزبير في هذا الحدث السنوي الرائع الذي يجمع رواد الأعمال الخليجيين ويشجع التبادل البناء للتجارب والممارسات المستدامة. مشيرا : بأن هذا التجمع السنوي الخليجي في مملكة البحرين يعد فرصة حيوية لتبادل الخبرات ومناقشة التحديات والتغيرات العالمية، بهدف تطوير منظومة دعم ريادة الأعمال واستدامتها ومواكبة المتطلبات المتجددة.
ومن جانبه شكر عبدالعزيز المعولي مركز الزبير لتطوير المؤسسات على منحهم الفرصة للمشاركة في هذا المؤتمر السنوي، مشيرا إلى أهمية هذا الحدث في تطوير المهارات وخلق فرص أستثمارية من خلال الإلتقاء مع نظرائهم من دول الخليج العربية. وأشار إلى أن هذا التجمع الخليجي سيساهم بلا شك بشكل كبير في تعزيز التعاون التجاري بين رواد الاعمال المشاركين من دول الخليج العربية كما سيتيح فرصة لرواد الاعمال في التوسع خليجيا.
ويعتبر مركز الزبير لتطوير المؤسسات أحد أهم المبادرات المنبثقة من رؤية “مؤسسة الزبير” الاستراتيجية لمسؤوليتها الاجتماعية،والتي تعكس إيمان المؤسسة بمدى أهمية المؤسسات الصغيرة في النهوض بالاقتصاد الوطني والمساهمة في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية المستدامة. ويتميز المركز بمهنيته العالية وتنوع مجالات المعرفة التي يقدمها وتعدد خبراته المتراكمة من خلال دعمه وتواصله مع المؤسسات الصغيرة، وشبكة اتصالاته وشركائه الاستراتيجيين محلياً ودولياً.
Zubair Enterprises Development Centre participates in the Gulf Business Incubators and Accelerators Conference in Bahrain
For the sixth consecutive year, The Zubair Enterprises Development Centre (Zubair EDC) actively engaged in the Gulf Business Incubators and Accelerators Conference. The event, titled “The Future of Business Incubators in the Gulf: Sustainability, Development, and Financial Support,” took place in Bahrain. The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musalam, Chairman of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives, and was attended by various Ministers, ambassadors, government officials, and prominent entrepreneurs.
Spanning two consecutive days, and jointly organised by the Bahrain Society for Small and Medium Enterprises Development and the Bahraini Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism, the conference attracted significant participation from Gulf-based business incubators and accelerators.
Zubair EDC’s participation was focused on reinforcing its dedication to fostering sustainable entrepreneurship in the Sultanate. The Centre facilitated participation of several of its members in this event, enabling them to engage in the exchange of experiences and knowledge with peers from other Arab nations. This collaborative effort enhanced their commercial ventures and established enduring partnerships to support the ongoing development and sustainability of projects.
Ali Shaker, who leads the Business Development and Partnerships Sector at the Zubair EDC, represented the Centre at the conference. He was accompanied by three notable entrepreneurs: Abdulaziz Al Maawali, the founder of Smartech Technology Solutions and Artificial Intelligence; Mazen Al Hadrami, the founder of Let’s Go; and engineer Farha Al Kindi, who serves as the co-founder and General Manager of Meena Fishery.
Over the course of two days, Zubair EDC played a significant role in the conference’s dialogue sessions. The Centres’ active participation was marked by leveraging its accumulated expertise spanning over a decade and exchanging insights with fellow nations.
Ali Shaker presented a discussion paper during a session titled “Sustainable Practices in Business Incubators.” The paper explored the vital role of incubators in promoting and reinforcing sustainability within emerging institutions. It delved into how these incubators facilitate the adoption of sustainable projects. Additionally, the paper examined the motivating factors that drive entrepreneurs to align their ventures with sustainable development goals.
Other delegates engaged in diverse discussions. Mazen AlHadrami shared insights on how technology supports project sustainability and enhances incubator innovation. Engineer Farha Al Kindi explored challenges and opportunities post-incubation, while Abdulaziz Al Maawali’s focus was on “The Liquidity Crisis and its Impact on Incubators: Causes and Solutions.”
Ali Shaker conveyed his appreciation to the Bahrain Society for Small and Medium Enterprises Development for extending the invitation to the Zubair EDC to be a part of an event that unites GCC entrepreneurs. Shaker also highlighted that the event serves a vehicle to enhance the support system for entrepreneurship, ensuring its sustainability, and adapting to evolving needs and demands. Abdulaziz Al Maawali expressed his gratitude to the Zubair EDC for enabling their participation in the yearly conference. He emphasised on the event’s significance in skill development and creating investment avenues by connecting peers across the GCC.
