OQ, the global energy investment group, will participate in Oman Sustainability Week 2025 from 11 – 15 May at the Oman International Exhibition Centre. This year, OQ’s presence will be anchored by a single unifying theme, Powering the Future, Together as One. The theme reflects OQ’s belief that collaboration is not only how it does business, but how it drives lasting energy transformation across Oman and beyond.
OQ’s alignment with national strategies will be a central message of its showcase. As Oman accelerates its transition towards sustainable energy, OQ’s vertically integrated approach and its synergy across its group of companies illustrate how government vision translates into action.
“Real partnerships, tangible projects, and measurable outcomes – this is what defines OQ’s commitment to a sustainable future,” said Ashraf Hamed Al Mamari, Group CEO of OQ. “Our alignment and collaboration across the group are turning ambition into impact, and Oman Sustainability Week will demonstrate just that.”
Visitors to the OQ booth will experience the physical embodiment of the theme. Designed as a walkthrough of Oman’s energy journey, the space will blend natural and technological elements, featuring live greenery and a central tree as a symbol of energy and life. Each subsidiary will contribute to the immersive experience with distinct zones while maintaining a cohesive, unified narrative. A dedicated stadium-style seating area will host OQ Talks to accommodate high levels of engagement.
OQ will also take part in multiple panels and talks throughout the event, including a high-level roundtable with Chief People & Technology Officer of OQ, Ali Al Lawati, and the ISRTC panel discussion titled Green Versus Blue: How to Keep Hydrogen Clean, featuring the Chief Business Development of OQ Alternative Energy, Ghalib Al Maamari.
The programme will offer deep insight into the Group’s initiatives, reinforcing its leadership in clean energy, circularity, and innovation.
