Focus on safe maternal and newborn care

Muscat: Al Nahdha Hospital represented by the Health Education and Psychological Counselling section organised yesterday an event to mark the 4th National and the 3rd World Patient Safety Day under the theme “Safe Maternal and Newborn Care”.

The event included several workshops and lectures on safe maternal and newborn care in addition to highlighting patient rights and responsibilities.

It also included an awareness exhibition that presented a number of health educational materials on health of the pregnant and foetus, the national document of patient rights and responsibilities, in addition to displaying some medical cosmetic products for women and children.
