Muscat: As many as 39 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate over the last 24 hours, in addition to zero Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 303,551 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 4,093, the Ministry of Health said.

Oman reported zero Covid-19 deaths since last Friday.

The Ministry added that 426 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 295,168 recoveries. The recovery rate reached to 97.2 per cent.

The Ministry also pointed out that 7 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 50 of them 23 are in intensive care units (ICUs). –ONA
