Muscat: In light of continuous protests being held against the government all across Sri Lanka, Oman has issued an advisory, asking its citizens to avoid travel to the country.
The government said in a statement: “In light of the continuing security situation in the Republic of Sri Lanka and the protests it is witnessing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to draw the attention of the Omani citizens that their visit to Sri Lanka during this period is not appropriate unless it is absolutely necessary.”
