Muscat: The tropical depression located in the northeastern part of the Arabian Sea has worsened, and is now classified as a deep tropical depression.
“The tropical depression located in the northeast of the Arabian Sea deepened into a deep tropical depression, with wind speed around the center ranging between 28 and 33 knots and is moving in a west/northwest direction along the Indian coastline,” Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
