Dubai: Mersal Group, an Omani firm making smart devices, on Saturday signed three agreements related to sale and export of its smart phones and tablets at the Sultanate’s Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai.
The first agreement was signed with a Saudi company on the sale, marketing and distribution of Mersal’s smart phones and tablets in the Omani and Saudi markets. The second agreement was signed with a company from Burkina Faso on the sale, marketing and distribution of Mersal’s smart phones and tablets in the Republic of Niger, Cote d’Ivoire and the Republic of Mali while the third agreement was signed with Aqeel Trading from Iraq for marketing and distribution of the company’s products in Iraq and Iran.
The agreements signed with the three companies are related to the six products of Mersal. It includes three types of tablets and three types of smart phones.
“The agreement signed with the Saudi company included purchase of 6,000 devices monthly from Mersal, the second agreement with the company of Cote d’Ivoire is on marketing and distribution of 30,000 devices of the company in West African countries on a monthly basis while the third agreement with the Iraqi company is on marketing and distribution of 60,000 devices in the markets of Iraq and Iran,” said Rashid Abdullah Al Nasri, CEO of Mersal.
