Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has directed the National Committee for Emergency Management to take all measures necessary to preserve the safety of citizens and residents. He issued his directives during the extraordinary meeting of the committee.
“His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has directed the committee to provide everything needed to preserve the safety of citizens and residents during the Sultanate’s exposure to the effects of the tropical storm Shaheen. These directives came during the extraordinary meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Management headed by His Excellency the Inspector General of Police and Customs,” Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
