Muscat: The Ministry of Labour on Monday said that all institutions in the public and private sectors should take into account their workers who live in the directly affected areas, and exempt them from coming to their workplaces until their conditions improve due to the tropical situation.

Companies should consider them to work remotely and calculating that period as an emergency leave, with an emphasis on not holding people accountable or deducting salaries from those who were unable to reach their workplaces during that period.
