Muscat: In implementation of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to speed up the restoration of infrastructure damaged during the recent tropical cyclone /Shaheen/, repair works on Al Batinah highway have been awarded.
The Ministerial Committee tasked with the assessing the damage incurred to people’s homes and properties in the stricken governorates announced that “the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology awarded the Batinah highway restoration project to Galfar Engineering and Contracting”.
The project covers the sector of the highway from the Wilayat of Al Musanaa to the Wilayat of Saham. –ONA
