Muscat: To achieve the development of governorates and sustainable cities, the Ministry of Economy (MoE) on Thursday announced the ‘Governorate Development Programme’.
The program is implemented in accordance with royal directives to allocate RO 10 million to each governorate as per the 10th Five-Year Plan.
His Excellency Nasser Rashid Al Mawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy in his meeting with the Governors, said that the meeting is part of the efforts made to achieve the 10th-Five-Year-Plan objectives aiming to empower governorates, achieve comprehensive and balanced development and ensure effective utilization of natural resources of each governorate according to their comparative advantages.
