Military Committee for Emergency Situations Management at North and South Al Batinah
Muscat: The Military Committee for the management of emergency situations continues its meetings to follow up on field procedures in the governorates of North and South Al Batinah.
The committee in coordination with subcommittees in the governorates of North and South Batinah held a meeting this afternoon to follow up national efforts by military units deployed to restore the situation to what it was with continuous coordination with the National Committee for Emergency Situations Management.
The meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Staff Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Mandhari, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces for Operations and Planning, and Head of the Main Military Committee for Emergency Situations Management, in the presence of all members.
The committee heard briefly through visual contact of the two subcommittees to ensure that field work is completed and tasks list is made to accelerate humanitarian and field work in the governorates of South and North Al Batinah and to ensure the speedy restoration of the situation to the way it was.
In addition, the Main Military Committee for Emergency Situations Management has strengthened its efforts with a group of Military Technical College students to provide assistance and support in removing waste and antiquities from residential neighborhoods, buildings of government institutions and homes of citizens in North Al Batinah Governorate.
