Muscat: An Omani diver has topped the rankings in the ‘monofin-diving’ category at the Free Diving World Championship with a depth of 101 meters.
The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth said: “Omani diving champion Omar Al Ghailani sets a new national record for being first in the Free Diving World Championship 2021 Turkey; in monofin-diving at a depth of 101 meters. With the participation of more than 50 divers from 22 countries.”
