Muscat: A little over 700 kilos of food, found to be inedible, has been destroyed by Muscat Municipality officials on Thursday.
“Muscat Municipality, represented by the Food Control Department in Seeb, carried out an inspection campaign covering a number of stores and warehouses, which resulted in the issuance of four violations and the seizure and destruction of 735 kg of expired foodstuffs. Legal measures are being taken against violators,” a statement by the municipality said.
