Muscat: The weather is clear in general in most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, with chances of cloud formation and scattered rain in the Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas.
Today, Saturday, October 23, 2021, the Directorate General of Meteorology said that the weather is clear to partly cloudy over the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and in general clear over most of the governorates, with chances of cloud formation and scattered rain over the Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas in the afternoon and evening. There is also a possibility of low clouds forming in the night and early morning over parts of the governorates of Al Dhahirah, Al Buraimi, South Al Sharqiah, Al Wusta and Dhofar.
“On the coasts of the Sea of Oman, light to moderate northeasterly winds will turn to a light variable direction at night. Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates will blow light to moderate northwesterly winds, while light to moderate southwesterly winds will blow over the rest of the Sultanate’s governorates.”
