Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources left here on Sunday heading to Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), to lead the Sultanate’s delegation in the launching ceremony of the Middle East Green Initiative (MGI), scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday).
The MGI summit will bring together prominent regional and international leaders with the aim of enhancing cooperation and rallying efforts towards implementing the common environmental commitments. The MGI initiative aims at combating climate change in the Middle East and promoting investment, as well as transferring knowledge to face relevant challenges. –ONA
