Muscat: The Minister of Information on Sunday met Antoine Cormery, Director of the France 24 Academie.
“His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Harrasi, Minister of Information, received in his office today Antoine Cormery, Director of the French France 24 Academy. During the meeting, the process of cooperation between the Ministry of Information and the Academy in the fields of radio and television training during the past years was reviewed,” Oman TV News said in a statement.
In addition, they discussed the importance of this cooperation in raising the level of Omani media cadres. His Excellency discussed with the Director of the Academy the possibility of implementing a number of training courses within the plans of the Media Training Centre of the Ministry of Information this year, through which the Ministry implemented training programs for government and private media institutions.
His Excellency also discussed the importance of the centre continuing to implement more professional courses that contribute to refining the skills of media professionals, including media graduates from various universities in the Sultanate.
