His Highness Sayyid Theyazin thanks His Majesty

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, expressed, on behalf of the Omani youth, the highest thanks and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

“This came in a speech during his patronage of the celebration on the occasion of the Omani Youth Day, which is currently being held via video communication,” Oman News Agency said in a statement.

His Highness said that dedicating the 26th of October of each year to celebrate this day comes as a belief in the pioneering role of youth in the advancement of nations and as an example of one of the manifestations of concern for them as part of the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

He said: “The “Youth Excellence Award” in its second edition, which is supervised by the Ministry, is to honour the Omani youth and to motivate them to exert more creativity and innovation in various fields, which is an investment in the energies of the talented and creative among them.”
