Oman Airports will carry out an emergency exercise (Shield) at Muscat International Airport on Friday, October 29, 2021, between 6:00 am and 10:00 am in cooperation with the strategic partners in the Royal Oman Police (represented by the General Administration of Operations, Administration General Airport Security), Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance, Civil Aviation Authority and Oman Air, Transom Ground handling, one of Oman Airports Subsidiaries.
Please be noted that the movement of ambulances, emergency and police cars to and from the airport during this period continues. Oman airports confirms that all necessary preparations have been taken to ensure that airport operations and traffic in the area of the airport are not affected.
For emergency cases and in implementation of the procedures followed in other international airports, measures will be taken to follow all regulations and laws.
