Muscat: A new batch of citizens who have passed evaluation, interviews, written tests and fitness examinations and admitted for training at Institute of Police Recruits at Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences joined Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Sunday.
The joining of the new batch comes within the efforts of Royal Oman Police in coordination with the Ministry of Labour for employment of jobseekers and providing Royal Oman Police formations with the qualified manpower in accordance with the plan approved by Royal Oman Police Headquarters.
The new batch comprised holders of general education diploma and post general education diploma in the specialisations of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering and human resources administration among other specialsations.
