Muscat: The National Museum held an inauguration for the ‘Oman Day’ exhibition and events at the National Museum in Damascus.
“The National Museum inaugurates the ‘Oman Day’ exhibition and events at the National Museum in Damascus within the framework of cultural cooperation between the National Museum and the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums, which oversees the management of five national museums, according to the memorandum of understanding concluded in Muscat in the year 2019,” Oman News Agency said.
The museum aims to highlight the civilisational, historical, cultural and scientific heritage of the Sultanate of Oman at the regional and international levels in order to reach a wide segment of the public abroad and to organise it annually in one of the world’s most prestigious museums.
