Ten times champion, Dhofar, will defend their title in the prestigious His Majesty football Cup with a match against Majees in the Round of 32. The match will be played at Sohar Sports Complex. The matches of Round of 32 will be played on November 19, 20 and 21.
The draw ceremony of the coveted cup was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Muscat under the auspices of HH Sayyid Fahar bin Fatik al Said, in the presence of Shaikh Salim Said al Wahaibi, Oman Football Association (OFA) chairman, top dignitaries and club officials on Sunday.
Al Nahdha will meet Jalaan at Al Buraimi Sports Complex. Al Nasr will take on Masirah. Three times winner, Seeb, will face off with Ibri while Muscat will meet Salalah.
Al Ittifaq will host Al Mussnah and Al Oruba will host Sohar. In the remaining matches, Saham will meet Samayel while Oman club will play against Al Bashaer.
The nine-times winner Fanja will take on Al Ittihad while Nizwa will play against Bousher. Al Rustaq will face Qurayat while Bahla will meet Al Kamil Wal Fai. Sur will take on Al Shabab and Al Khabourah will play against Ahli Sidab. Al Suwaiq will meet Al Mudhaibi.
The last 32 round and round of 16 will be played in the knockout format. The quarterfinal matches will be played with first and second legs.
