Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Morocco signed here on Monday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the fields of historical documentation and the management of documents and archives.
The MoU was signed by Dr Hamad Mohammed al Dhawyani, Chairman of the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA) and Dr Bahija Simou, Director of the Moroccan Royal Archives.
As per the MoU, the two sides will cooperate in the fields of copying documents, printing and exchanging manuscripts and books, as well as preserving and repairing documents.
The two sides will also promote their cooperation in publishing cultural, literary and historical documents and organizing various activities. –ONA
