Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers at Al Barakah Palace.
During the meeting His Majesty issued the following directives:
His Majesty the Sultan directs to promote government employees affiliated with the civil service system and other civil systems who are eligible for seniority in 2011 as from the next year 2022.
His Majesty the Sultan directs to fix vehicle fuel prices according to the average last October 2021 as a maximum, so that the government bears the resulting differences.
Establishing an independent unit under His Majesty the Sultan to measure the performance of government institutions, ensure the continuity of their evaluation, and suggest mechanisms to raise their efficiency, while measuring the quality of services and the satisfaction of their beneficiaries.
His Majesty directs the cancellation of a package of fees related to the activities of some sectors, as well as the reduction of a number of them.
