Nakheel Oman Development Company concluded its participation in the 14th edition of Yummex Middle East, the world’s largest trade fair for confectionery and snacks.
The trade fair had space dedicated to major date production companies, distributors, hotels, restaurants, retail stores and other traders specialised in the dates sector in order to discuss opportunities to supply fresh and dried dates products and other related date products.
The company’s corner witnessed a great demand from suppliers, retailers and global wholesalers. Nakheel Oman seeks to establish and create a commercial exchange to promote and market Omani date products and their derivatives from the manufacturing industries, as well as open new channels in the food industry worldwide.
In its participation, the company focused on marketing Omani dates by introducing visitors to the Million Date Palm Plantation Project, which is one of the largest pioneering projects in the Sultanate of Oman in the dates sector.
Nakheel Oman showcased its 3 brands which are Tamrah, the luxury brand committed to providing customers with products made from gourmet dates; Nizwa, high-quality natural dates targeting local and international retail markets; and Zad, targeting wholesale in local and international markets and export.
