Muscat: The Ministry of Labour (MoL) on Tuesday confirmed that the lofty directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to promote the civil employees of the state’s administrative apparatus from the seniority of 2011 come within the framework of His Majesty’s keenness on his sons of employees and giving the government sector the usual care.
It is an extension of His Majesty’s concern towards his loyal people and his keenness to support and motivate employees in order to raise the level of services and duties undertaken by the government sector.
The ministry clarified that the current promotion will be for employees of 2011 seniority, whether those appointed or those who were promoted this year, and it will be at the beginning of 2022.
The ministry pointed out that the number of civil employees in the administrative apparatus of the state who benefited from this promotion is more than 28 thousand employees.
The ministry and all relevant governmental units will take the necessary care to implement His Majesty’s directives.
