Muscat: The Khasab Port in the Musandam Governorate received the Mein Schiff 6 of TUI Cruises company, with over 2,100 tourists of different nationalities.
The ship will call at Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat on November 18.
This is the first cruise ship to reach the ports of the Sultanate of Oman with the start of the tourism season.
During the 2018/2019 season, the Sultanate of Oman recorded an increase of 45 percent in the number of visitors coming via cruise ships.
A total of 283,000 visitors arrived in Oman compared during the same period the 2017/2018 season, compared to 193,000 tourists the previous year.
The ship will call at Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat on November 18.
