Muscat: In a low-scoring match of the Premier Division of Oman Cricket League, Muscat CT got the better of Oman Stallions by six wickets at the Oman Cricket ground in Al Amerat on Friday.

After being put into bat by Muscat CT, Oman Stallions had a bad start losing their first five wickets with only 66 on board. The team could never recover, and ultimately was bundled out for 104 in 36 overs, with Prasad Sankata the sole batsman who put up some resistance with 38 runs. Ganesh Chandrashekhar and Debutant Chonira Aiyappa chipped in with three wickets apiece.

In reply, Muscat CT knocked off the target in 26.5 overs. Debutant Hashir Dafedar was the top-scorer with 30 runs, studded with four boundaries. Hemalkumar Tandel was the only bowler who made an impression, picking up two wickets.

In another Division A match of the Oman Cricket League played on Friday, Orient Travels pipped ABL Task by 31 Runs.

Put into bat after ABL Task won the toss, Orient Travels scored 198 before being bundled out in 47.2 overs. Syed Mohammed Ubadah was the top scorer with 60 off 68 balls, with three boundaries and five massive sixes. Haroon Khan was the best bowler for ABL Task, picking up three wickets for 45.

ABL Task could never get going, losing wickets at regular intervals and none of the batsman creating any impact on the game. Ultimately, the team was all out for 167 in 43.2 overs, with Shayan S scoring 25. Waleed was the leading wicket taker for Orient with three wickets for 22.
