Muscat: Najeeb Yahya al Balushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar, has said that relations between Omani and Qatari people stem from solid grounds of deep-rooted history and that these relations continue to grow stronger, thanks to the wise directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and Shaikh Tamim Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), Al Balushi said that Omani-Qatari relations constitute a model of cooperation among brethren due to the keenness of the two countries’ leaderships to develop cooperation and partnership for the mutual benefit of both sides.
Al Balushi added that, “This benign state visit comes in response to a generous invitation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik from Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar.”
Al Balushi pointed out that the visit will cover different areas of cooperation and ways to develop them in a manner that responds to the two countries’ peoples’ aspirations for further progress and prosperity. It will be an opportunity to exchange views about many issues of common interest. –ONA
