Riyadh: Dr Mohammed Nasser al Zaabi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence on Monday took part in the 18th meeting of the Joint Defence Council of GCC Ministers of Defence, held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The meeting was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis al Raeesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF).
The meeting discussed the agenda submitted by the Supreme Military Committee of GCC Chiefs of Staff. It also reviewed achievements made in joint military fields.
The meeting also covered several military matters of mutual interest to enhance the march of GCC military cooperation.
Moreover, the Joint Defence Council of GCC Ministers of Defence took decisions and recommendations, due to be submitted at upcoming summit of the Supreme Council of GCC leaders. –ONA
