Muscat: Made in Oman campaign was launched on Thursday to support Omani products.
“The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion is launching today the ‘Made in Oman’ campaign in support of Omani products, in cooperation with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Development Authority, and a number of commercial centres,” Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
“The campaign aims to enhance the business environment, support and encourage Omani manufacturers and service providers who own small and medium enterprises, and support the Omani industry through the definition and promotion of Omani products. It also aims at encouraging the local and resident consumer in the Sultanate of Oman to buy the Omani product by opening a special corner for Omani products in a number of commercial centres in the various governorates of the Sultanate,” ONA added.
