Muscat: Two citizens have been arrested for hunting Arabian gazelles in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
A statement issued online by Environment Authority said: “Al Fulaij Wildlife Protection Unit of the Environment Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, managed to arrest two citizens who had hunted two Arabian gazelles. The legal procedures are being completed against them and their equipment has been confiscated.”
