Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik today issued five Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal Decree No. 69/2021 transfers to the Diwan of Royal Court the affiliation of Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science.
Article (1) states that the affiliation of Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science (SQHCCS) shall be transferred to the Diwan of Royal Court, to which all allocations, origins, rights, obligations and assets of SQHCCS shall also be transferred, and so do the employees of the SQHCCS, along with their current financial grades.
Article (2) cancels Royal Decree No. 52/2012 on establishing the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science. It also cancels all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
Royal Decree No. 70/2021 transfers the affiliation of the Environment Conservation Office from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Environment Authority.
Article (1) states that theaffiliation of the Environment Conservation Office shall be transferred from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Environment Authority, to which all allocations, origins, rights, obligations and assets of the Environment Conservation Office shall also be transferred, and so do the employees of the Environment Conservation Office, along with their current financial grades.
Article (2) cancels all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
Royal Decree No. 71/2021 endorses the organizational structure of the Diwan of Royal Court.
Article (1) endorses the organizational structure of the Diwan of Royal Court in accordance with the Annex attached to this decree.
Article (2) cancels all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
Royal Decree No. 72/2021 cancels the National Field Research Center for Environmental Conservation.
Article (1) states that all allocations, origins, rights, obligations and assets of the National Field Research Center for Environmental Conservation shall be transferred to the Diwan of Royal Court.
Article (2) transfers to the Diwan of Royal Court the employees of the National Field Research Center for Environmental Conservation, along with their current financial grades.
Article (3) cancels the National Field Research Center for Environmental Conservation. It also cancels all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.
Article (4) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
Royal Decree No. 73/2021 appoints a Chairman for the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science at the Diwan of Royal Court.
Article (1) appoints Habib Mohammed Al Riyami as Chairman of Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science at the Diwan of Royal Court, along with his current financial grade.
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
