Muscat: The Supreme Committee’s decision to ban ceremonies does not include holding events in designated halls with a capacity of 50 per cent, with the application of all precautionary measures.
The Supreme Committee said in clarification that holding event and ceremonies in designated halls is still allowed with 50 per cent of it is capacity provided all precautionary measures are in place including:
– Attendees should have taken two doses of vaccine.
– Maintain social distance.
– Wear mask in the correct way (covering the nose and mouth).
Earlier on Wednesday, the Supreme Committee issued a decision to ban holding events, marriage celebrations and funerals in mosques and public sites and councils.
