Muscat: People who wish to fly to Istanbul from Muscat now have more options to choose from, with flights available on all seven days of the week.
In a bid to increase passenger movement between the two cities, the Turkish Airlines has strengthened the frequency of its flights to and from Muscat.
Flights depart from Muscat at 1:20am local time on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, landing in Istanbul just after 6:00am.
People looking to return to Muscat from Istanbul can also catch the evening flight on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, which departs at 6:30pm, and arrives in Oman 20 minutes past midnight.
Another flight operates on Thursdays and Sundays, departing just after 8am from Muscat, and landing shortly before 1pm. The return flight takes off at 1:15 in the morning and arrives in Oman a few minutes after 7pm.
“Flying to more countries than any other carrier, Turkish Airlines has increased the frequency of flights from Muscat to Istanbul from five to seven flights a week, as of December 15, 2021, thereby offering more choice and convenience,” said a statement from the airline.
“These additional flights will further improve connectivity between the two cities, and over 330 destinations in 128 countries, spanning five continents served by Turkish Airlines from its hub at Istanbul Airport,” added the airline.
