Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received two cables of thanks from Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jabir al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait in reply to His Majesty’s condolences cables to him on the death of Shaikh Duaij Al Khalifa al Sabah and Shaikha Wafiqa Mubarak Al Hamad Al Mubarak al Sabah.
In the cables, Shaikh Nawaf expressed his sincere appreciation for His Majesty’s heartfelt sympathies. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased’s souls in peace in paradise and protect His Majesty against all harm. –ONA
