Oman to get animal vaccine manufacturing facility

Muscat: The first animal vaccine manufacturing facility in the Sultanate of Oman will be set up in Sohar with a capacity of 144 million vaccines annually.

Sohar Port and Freezone said in a statement: “SOHAR’s delighted to welcome the National Veterinary Vaccines Company to the Freezone. The new 10,000 sqm animal vaccine manufacturing facility will be the first FARMA project in SOHAR and will produce 144 million vaccines each year to ensure healthier livestock across the region.”
