MUSCAT: The GCC Health Under-Secretaries on Monday held their 20th meeting to discuss the latest developments of the new Covid-19 strain “Omicron”.
The meeting reviewed latest updates regarding coronavirus and the measures taken by GCC member states. It also touched on proposals submitted for the next period, among other topics.
The GCC health Under-Secretaries commended the significant efforts of health workers, as well as their tangible contribution towards mitigating the spread of the virus.
They urged citizens and residents to adhere to preventive measures, such as wearing masks, avoiding gatherings and maintaining social distance. – ONA
