HM confers order of commendation on former chairman of AFESD

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday conferred the Order of Commendation on Abdullateef Yousef Al Hamad, Former Director-General and Chairman of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development’s (AFESD) Board of Directors.

The order reflects His Majesty the Sultan’s recognition for the efforts of AFESD former chairman and his contribution to the development work on the Arab level.

The order was handed over by HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, when he received Al Hamad in his office here on Monday.

The conferment ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General and the two advisers at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad. — ONA
