Ingredients
4 medium apples – cut into half inch pieces
½ cup walnuts (lightly toasted and broken)
1 stalk celery- finely chopped
1 bunch lettuce- torn in to bite sized pieces
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp cream
½ tsp fresh crushed pepper
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, add the apples, walnuts, lettuce and celery. Stir in the mayonnaise and cream.
Season with pepper and lightly toss the salad so that the dressing coats the ingredients well.
Refrigerate for about half an hour before serving. Serve cold.
