King Philippe of Belgium to visit Sultanate of Oman

Muscat: King Philippe Léopold Louis Marie of Belgium and his wife Queen Mathilde Marie Christine Ghislaine will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday, during which both sides will discuss a number of matters and issues of common interest.

The statement issued by the Diwan of the Royal Court today said, “The good relations that bind the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly Kingdom of Belgium and based on the supreme concern of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Philip Leopold Louis Marie, King of the Belgians, for everything that would strengthen these relations towards broader horizons in various fields.”

During the visit, a number of areas of interest will be discussed.
