Muscat: Muscat International Airport is lit up in purple on the occasion of World Cancer Day and to spread awareness of the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to avoid it.
Oman Airports said: “As part of the participation of the Sultanate of Oman in the World Cancer Day represented by the Oman Cancer Society, the Muscat International Airport building is covered in purple, according to its globally approved connotations, as part of efforts to raise public awareness in society and encourage people to choose a healthy lifestyle.”
