Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion signed a cooperation programme with a local company that specialises in technology to set up Oman Exports e-Platform.
The agreement was signed by Aseela Salim Al Samsami, Investment Promotion Undersecretary and Thamir Ahmed Al Marhoon, CEO of the company.
The programme aims to set up an electronic platform that contributes to promoting Omani exports and displaying Omani products whose owners wish to market them through the electronic platform for other parties outside the Sultanate of Oman.
It also seeks to prepare promotional content for Omani products and advertise them on the e-platform, in addition to conducting studies and research on the export environment in the Sultanate of Oman and the difficulties it faces and finding solutions to contribute to improving the marketing of Omani products.
