Majlis Al Shura Office also approved the agenda of the 8th session of meeting.
Muscat: Majlis Al Shura Office reviewed the results and recommendations of the discussions held with the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Minister of Economy.
The meeting was chaired by Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura in the presence of the members and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary of Majlis.
The meeting also reviewed a number of ministerial responses including the reply of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the reply of the Minister of Health and the reply of the Minister of Information.
Majlis Al Shura Office also approved the agenda of the 8th session of Majlis scheduled for the end of February for a discussion on the statement of the Ministry of Economy.
The Majlis Al Shura Office also reviewed the request for a discussion submitted by a number of members on the internal circular No. 3/2020 of the Ministry of Labour, on not linking the qualifications with wages.
The request of the members also conveyed the interest of the members in a discussion with the Minister of Labour on the subject.. The Majlis Office decided to incorporate the request in the agenda of the next session of Majlis Al Shura.
It was the 9th regular meeting of the third annual convening ( 2021-2022) of the 9th term.
